Spoem
I usually don't receive much spam on my main email address : I have a dedicated, unsafe, gmail account to take care of that. Nonetheless, I get a few junk mails from times to times (one or two each week), mainly the usual stuff : you know, the ones that imply that you're a poor old fat gaming addict and alcoholic having sexual deviancies and in need of a lot of medical attention, which you could afford, as some unknown folks in Africa have sent a few zillions dollars on you bank account.
Anyway, when I catch a spam, I usually press d (which stands for delete in Mutt). But today, something caught my eye, and I decided to look at the actual content of the spam, and I was shocked.
Seriously, I thought that spam was based on the idea that out of hundreds of guys who'll receive it, there'll be at last one stupid guy to order the product… In my case, there was no product, here is a copy of the spam :

Pretty poetic, no ? The funny part comes next: I googled some parts of the text, and I managed to find the source. Or as a matter of fact, the 15 different sources. You read that right 15 sources: that's not a spam anymore, it's a mashup poem

Anyway, I don't understand why I got this (the subject line refers to some dental care stuff, but no real advertising, just a single word: the name of a brand). Is this the new way of getting around spam filters ? Pretty ineffective.
But it's still quite nice to read (I'd rather have this kind of spam than the usual type).
