After discovering the Planck keyboard, I got really obsessed with the form factor. Unfortunately there were long shipping delays so I ended up building one by hand.

I used keyboard-layout-editor.com for the layout, then builder.swillkb.com to generate the CAD, and ordered the top plate from lasergist.com.

I then fitted the switches in the top plate.

And soldered all the diodes and columns.

Finally wired everything to the microcontroller.

Made a small wooden frame.

And the final product!
